Welcome to Kuuru, where we celebrate True Nikkei flavors. Our culinary journey goes beyond borders and fuses the vibrant traditions of Peru with the refined techniques of Japan, capturing the essence of both cultures, connected through time and enriched by the vibrant energy of Saudi Arabia.
Our chefs carry expertise from both Peruvian and Japanese kitchens: colourful, sharing-style plates built on the discipline of the Nikkei Bar and the warmth of the Peruvian table.

Nikkei is born
Japanese migrants arrive in Peru, and two great cuisines begin a century-long conversation, where precision meets fire.

Jeddah
Kuuru opens on Al Malik Road, Al Khalidiyyah. Leylaty Group and Peru’s MCK Hospitality bring True Nikkei to the Red Sea.

First honours
Named Best Restaurant in Jeddah at the FACT Dining Awards.

The capital
Kuuru Riyadh opens in the King Abdullah Financial District in February, and is FACT’s Restaurant of the Year in Saudi Arabia within the year.
